Self service devices at an office, residential complex or managed facility need to guide visitors without creating confusion at the entrance. This 19-inch Android panel provides a 1280 × 1024 interface for directory search, appointment lookup, visitor instructions, access status and wayfinding. Its 4:3 proportions allow a designer to place form fields, a numeric keypad and confirmation messages on one screen without compressing every control into a narrow strip.
The display area is 376.32 × 301.06 mm, with a listed 1000:1 contrast ratio and wide viewing angles. At 250 cd/m², it is intended for interior lobbies, reception areas or protected vestibules. Strong daylight behind a glass entrance may require a separate brightness assessment and careful placement to control reflections.
Flexible Android Choices for Integrators
The embedded platform is offered with two board configurations. The RK3288 option combines 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and Android 10, while the RK3568 option provides 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and Android 11. This lets an integrator match the hardware to the visitor application, supported Android API level and planned device-management tools.
Both configurations list Gigabit Ethernet for dependable building-network access. Wireless capability varies by board, from 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 to dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. Two USB 2.0 connections can be allocated to compatible accessories. The final system may incorporate a reader, camera, scanner or printer, but those peripherals are not automatically included and must be verified with the software and interface plan.

Mechanical Planning for a Clean Entrance Installation
With dimensions of 436.5 × 364.5 × 56.7 mm, the panel can be integrated into a wall fixture, reception console or custom freestanding enclosure. The approximately 6.5 kg net weight should be included in the mounting calculation. Rear clearance is needed for power, network and USB cables as well as routine service access.
The unit operates from 100–240 V AC, consumes no more than 30 W under the listed configuration and uses less than 1 W in standby. Its 0°C to 50°C operating range supports many indoor public locations. The cabinet designer remains responsible for airflow, tamper resistance, cable protection and compliance of the finished installation.
Reliable OEM Coordination
For a public entrance, the system designer should also consider what happens after each session. The self service devices may need to clear personal information, return to the welcome screen and report peripheral faults to staff. These behaviors depend on the application, but they should be tested with the chosen Android board. A controlled pilot helps confirm that the self service devices remain understandable during both normal and exception workflows.

Does the product include access-control software?
The product provides an Android display and computing platform. Visitor registration, identity verification and door-control logic require compatible software and any necessary external hardware from the system integrator.
Can a scanner or card reader be connected?
Two USB 2.0 ports are listed. Compatibility depends on the accessory’s Android driver, power demand and the selected board, so testing is recommended.
Is this suitable for an exterior gate?
The 250 cd/m² panel and lack of a stated weather-protection rating make it more appropriate for indoor or protected installations. Exterior projects require a purpose-designed enclosure and environmental review.
