Put Shared Mining Information in One Location
A 23.6-inch Android information kiosk can give supervisors and operators a shared view of production status, work instructions or equipment information. This product is the display and computing platform. It does not replace certified control, safety or communications systems. Data sources and permissions are defined by the mining application and project integrator.
Organize Information by Role and Task

Select the Android Board Deliberately
The existing page lists RK3288 and RK3568 board options with different memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. The application provider should confirm its Android support, graphics load, data-refresh needs and required interfaces. Ethernet may be preferred for fixed installations, while wireless use requires a site network review.
Offline behavior is important at remote sites. The buyer should decide whether the terminal shows cached data, approved documents or a clear unavailable message when the connection drops.
Specify the Actual Installation Environment
Mining environments can introduce dust, vibration, temperature change and moisture. Flush mounting alone does not establish protection for the complete unit. The enclosure designer should provide sealing, cooling and cable-entry measures appropriate to the site.
Drawings need to confirm the opening, rear depth, mounting points and maintenance route. The display should be replaceable without disturbing unrelated equipment. A site mock-up can check reflections and screen reach.
Use a Pilot to Set Support Expectations
A trial should cover application startup, data refresh, alarm display, network failure and recovery. Operators can judge whether the screen helps decisions, while maintenance teams test diagnostics and access. These findings guide both content and cabinet design.
Multi-site deployments need version-controlled Android images, asset labels, spare equipment and defined incident ownership. A change in board or application version should trigger the agreed regression tests.
Information governance is important when several departments publish content. The operator should assign owners for production data, work instructions and emergency notices, then define update and expiry rules. A dashboard that retains outdated instructions can create more risk than one that clearly reports unavailable data.
Acceptance should test both routine and exceptional conditions. Typical checks include login, dashboard refresh, search, loss of network, power recovery and switching between languages. Maintenance teams can also verify asset identification, cable access and replacement time. Results can be attached to the approved deployment record for each site.
Shift handover should be considered in the content design. The system may need a clear timestamp, data-source status and acknowledgement history so the next team understands what it is seeing. These functions belong to the application, but the panel layout should provide enough space to present them without hiding current alerts.
