When a Room Needs One Clear Control Point
A meeting room or hospitality space often contains several systems that were installed at different times. Lighting, booking information, presentation inputs and service requests can become difficult to manage when each function has a separate control. This 15.6-inch Android self service kiosk panel gives integrators a single Full HD interface for organizing those actions into a guided screen flow.
The 1920 × 1080 resolution provides room for a booking summary, large control buttons and supporting status information. Its 344.16 × 193.59 mm active area fits a wall recess, lectern or compact cabinet without dominating the interior. Wide 89-degree viewing angles help several people see the same status, while the listed 250 cd/m² brightness is intended for controlled indoor lighting rather than sun-facing or outdoor placement.
Android Options for Different Building Applications
Projects can use an RK3288 platform with 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and Android 10, or an RK3568 platform with 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and Android 11. A simple room-status page may have modest requirements, while an interface combining media, live schedules and several control gateways may benefit from the newer configuration. Testing the actual application is more reliable than selecting a board only from its processor name.
Gigabit Ethernet supports a stable link to an approved building network. Board-dependent wireless options include 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or dual-band Wi-Fi 6, plus Bluetooth 4.2 or Bluetooth 5. Two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI input provide integration options for compatible accessories and sources. Building automation still requires the buyer’s software and suitable controllers; these functions are not automatically included in the panel.

Installation Details That Affect Daily Use
The enclosure measures 403.9 × 263.9 × 56.7 mm and weighs approximately 5 kg. Rear space is needed for power, network and peripheral cables, along with a service route that does not require dismantling the complete wall fixture. The two 5 W speakers can support welcome audio, audible confirmation or instructions, with volume controlled for the room environment.
Power input is 100–240 V AC, maximum consumption is listed at 30 W and standby use is below 1 W. The operating range is 0°C to 50°C. These figures suit many indoor facilities, but the finished self service kiosk enclosure remains responsible for ventilation, cable protection and public-use durability.

A Repeatable Configuration for Multi-Room Projects
The rollout plan should also define what happens when a room loses its network connection. A well-designed interface can retain basic instructions, show an honest offline state and avoid presenting controls that cannot be completed. Facility staff may also need a protected maintenance page for connection checks without exposing administrative settings to guests. Reviewing these exception paths during sample testing makes the self service kiosk more useful in daily operation and gives the software provider a clearer list of recovery requirements.
Hotels, offices and education facilities may deploy the same panel in several rooms while changing only the application layout. ZXTLCD can review the mounting drawing, Android version and required interfaces before a sample is prepared. The buyer can then test real booking data, control response and viewing height. Once approved, the documented configuration provides a clearer basis for repeat orders and pre-shipment checks.

Room-Control Questions from Integrators
Can the panel directly operate lighting or HVAC equipment?
It can run compatible Android software, but direct control requires a suitable gateway or controller that communicates with the building system.
Is the HDMI connection an output?
The specification lists HDMI input. The intended video workflow should be confirmed with the selected board before the interface is designed.
Can this self service kiosk be installed outdoors?
The 250 cd/m² brightness and absence of a stated weather-protection rating position it for indoor use.
